Finance guides
Triostack Finance centralizes invoicing, expenses, and reporting, pulling data directly from CRM, Payroll, and Projects. This guide covers setting up invoicing and reading the connected financial reports.
1. Generate invoices from closed deals
When a CRM deal is marked closed-won, Finance can generate a draft invoice automatically with the deal's client, scope, and value already filled in — reducing the manual step between a sale closing and the client being billed.
2. Configure expense workflows
Expense categories and approval routing (Finance → Settings → Expenses) determine who can submit, who approves, and what gets auto-flagged for review (e.g. amounts over a threshold).
3. Review payroll cost sync
Each approved Payroll run posts automatically as an expense in Finance — no manual export or re-entry. This is covered from the Payroll side in the Payroll guide's reconciliation step.
4. Read financial reports
The Reports dashboard (Finance → Reports) shows revenue, cost, and margin, broken down by product line, client, or project — all sourced from live CRM, Payroll, and Projects data rather than a periodic export.
5. Manage multiple entities
If your business operates across multiple legal entities or regions, Finance → Settings → Entities lets you run separate books per entity while still viewing a consolidated report across all of them, with intercompany transactions eliminated automatically.
